Ruben Vardanyan to Hold a Position in Artsakh

The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has made a post on his Facebook page announcing that he has made a "very important decision."

"I have invited philanthropist and prominent public figure Ruben Vardanyan, whose decision to move to Artsakh I was one of the first to welcome, to assume the role of the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh. I am prepared to grant him extensive powers to make decisions and take actions," wrote the President.

"We can write at length about Ruben’s bold decisions, his dedication to the Homeland and the people, but today is only the time for action, so I am awaiting his decision regarding my offer. I hope our cooperation will begin in the coming weeks, about which I will provide further details later. Of course, this does not mean that I do not evaluate the work of the current State Minister Artak Beglaryan as effective, but given the existing challenges, I find it necessary to unite all national efforts," the Artsakh president stated.
