France has called for the punishment of those responsible for the execution of Armenian prisoners of war. The country acknowledges the commencement of an investigation into the death penalty act declared by Azerbaijan and urges accountability for the perpetrators. “We are deeply disturbed by the footage of Armenian prisoners being executed by Azerbaijani soldiers,” the statement reads.
