Ministry of Defense Calls to Halt Collection of Food, Clothing, Household Items

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia, appreciating the willingness of citizens to support the army, nevertheless announces that the collection of food, clothing, and other supplies for servicemen in public places, as well as fundraising activities organized on social networks, is not permissible.

The Ministry will provide relevant materials to law enforcement agencies regarding each such case to conduct investigations, identify possible abuses, and hold accountable those found culpable.

Once again, we urge to cease the collection of food, clothing, household items, and technical equipment, as well as fundraising efforts. The Ministry of Defense adequately responds to all alerts raised by citizens and media.
