Finland, Sweden, and Turkey May Discuss NATO Membership Process
Finland, Sweden, and Turkey may discuss the process of joining NATO in October. This was announced by Finland's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pekka Haavisto.
“Of course, we hope that NATO members will complete the review process of our application as quickly as possible. At this moment, we have good results. It still needs to receive the approval from the parliaments of two countries—Turkey and Hungary. The next meeting is expected to take place in October,” Haavisto stated, as reported by Hürriyet.
