Ukrainian Armed Forces Encircle City of Lyman

Russian military correspondents and bloggers have reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have effectively encircled the city of Lyman in Donetsk, which has been under the control of the Russian army since late May. This was reported by The Insider.

It is noted that Russian troops have withdrawn from the settlements of Yampol and Drobysheve.

In early September, the Ukrainian Armed Forces regained control of the cities of Izium, Kupiansk, and Balakliia in the Kharkiv region, which had been occupied by Russian forces since March. At the same time, reports indicated ongoing battles for Krasniy Lyman.
