The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, has announced that the DPR, LPR, Kherson, and Zaporozhye regions will become part of Russia's sovereign territory, and the treaty on the union state will also apply to them. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
“There will be a speech by the Russian president, and I repeat, it will be a significant speech, followed by a ceremony for signing the documents. The leaders participating in the signing ceremony will include DPR leader Denis Pushilin, LPR leader Leonid Pasechnik, Zaporozhye region head Yevgeny Balitsky, and Kherson region head Vladimir Saldo. Four agreements on accepting new subjects into the Russian Federation will be signed,” Peskov told reporters.
