Russia Faces Serious Consequences If Nuclear Weapons Are Used, Says NATO
Russia faces "serious consequences" if it uses nuclear weapons, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated today.
He also noted that NATO is closely monitoring the behavior of the Russian Federation and has not observed any signs of a willingness to use nuclear weapons.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry declared that Russia has no intention of using nuclear weapons during its special operation in Ukraine. The ministry emphasized that Moscow continues to adhere to the principles according to which there can be "no winners" in such a war.
In Great Britain, the Russian ambassador, Keilin, also stated that Russia does not intend to use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine. He added that the Russian side has a strictly defined list of conditions for the use of such weaponry.
