Pentagon Announces Increased Military Support for Kyiv

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has announced that the United States and its allies are discussing the expansion of military assistance to Ukraine, including the potential training of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and officers, according to RIA Novosti.

“We are discussing new measures to provide support to Ukraine in defending its territory with our allies and will continue to do so,” Austin stated.

In addition to training Ukrainian soldiers and officers, it has been reported that the United States and its NATO allies intend to assist the Ukrainian military in logistics and the provision of additional armaments.
