The US Has Become a Party to the Ukrainian Conflict - Zakharova

The US has lost touch with reality and has become a party to the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, as reported by kommersant.ru.

“Washington once again demonstrated how much it has lost touch with reality, essentially becoming a party to the conflict. Evidence of this is the recent preliminary agreement reached in the US Congress regarding a new aid package to the Kyiv regime amounting to nearly 12 billion dollars,” Zakharova said at a press briefing.

On September 28, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, stated that the American side is de facto “entering” the Ukrainian conflict, which is very dangerous. Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had noted that Washington does not oppose the use of American weapons by Ukraine in territories occupied by the Russian army, including areas that Russia intends to annex as a result of referendums.
