"There Has Never Been Such a Thing". Kocharian Responds to Ter-Petrosyan's Interview

During a press conference held today, the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, stated that he did not see the document presented by the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, during the public television interview.

"The document he read during the interview, we haven't seen, and such a thing has not been presented to us. He probably tried to present that content as an opinion. However, we did not discuss those two statements there. Such a thing did not happen," Kocharian said.

According to him, it became clear at the meeting that the disagreements are quite deep, and it was decided to make a statement that would "keep the door open for further work in that format."

It is worth noting that the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, stated on Public TV that he went to the meeting at the Mother See with a pre-prepared statement text, which was not accepted by the participants of the meeting.
