Russia is at a crucial stage in its history, says Lavrov

Russia is currently experiencing a crucial stage in its history, with the future of the global order being determined, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“The main goals of our foreign policy have been and remain ensuring the national security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the country, shaping favorable external conditions for stable internal development, and strengthening Russia's positions on the world stage,” Lavrov said.

“Today our country is living through a crucial moment in its history. It is no exaggeration to say that the future of the global order is being determined. We will continue to work persistently and creatively in the international arena,” Lavrov emphasized.

He added that Russia, together with its partners, will advance a “constructive, unifying agenda.”
