Explosions in Nord Stream Pipelines Were Deliberate, EU Reports

The European Union (EU) will support any investigation aimed at achieving full clarity regarding what occurred in the Nord Stream gas pipeline system. This was stated by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, as reported by TASS.

“All available information indicates that the leaks in Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 are the result of intentional actions,” Borrell said in a statement published on the EU Council's website.

It is worth noting that powerful underwater explosions were recorded in the area of gas leaks from Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines yesterday. The main Russian gas pipeline, Nord Stream, leading to Europe, was damaged, with both branches affected in three locations simultaneously. Authorities in European countries suspect that the incident is the result of a sabotage attack.
