Ukrainian Armed Forces Strike Hotel in Kherson, Casualties Reported

The Ukrainian military has launched a strike on a hotel located in the center of Kherson using HIMARS rocket systems, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. This information was provided to reporters by a source within the emergency services.

According to the source, the missile strike occurred at 5:30 AM. "Emergency services are currently working at the scene, clearing debris and searching for victims," they stated.

A representative from the emergency services reported that preliminary information indicates that during the missile strike, Oleksiy Zhuravko, a former Member of Parliament for the 5th and 6th convocations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, was killed. The representative added that the hotel was occupied by civilians and there were no weapons or military equipment present.

"This is essentially the center of Kherson," the emergency services representative concluded.
