Tehran Ready to Consult with Yerevan and Baku

Tehran is prepared to hold consultations with Yerevan and Baku to support the peaceful resolution of issues and disagreements. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian during a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to the website of Iran's foreign affairs ministry, the Iranian minister emphasized Tehran's clear stance on the unacceptability of any geopolitical changes and border adjustments in the region, pointing to reports and evidence regarding changes and movements in the South Caucasus.

Bayramov, for his part, noted that Azerbaijan is interested in a prompt resolution of issues with Armenia within the framework of regional cooperation.

Iran will not allow any changes to the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
