Liberation Begins at Yerablur: Parents of Fallen Soldiers Call to Stand By Their Side
We, the hero-parents of Yerablur, are committed to our unwavering struggle and the continuation of our sons' noble cause. Starting from September 26 at 23:00, we will gather at Yerablur to prevent Nikol Pashinyan's entry into the pantheon early in the morning on September 27. This was stated by Anna Mkrtchyan, the mother of Haykaz Mkrtchyan, who died in the 44-day war in Artsakh, while sharing the statement of the parents of the fallen soldiers on her Facebook page.
“Liberation begins at Yerablur: a call to action. Dear compatriots, due to the unpatriotic and treacherous policies, our homeland continues to suffer severe blows, the consequences of which are immediately visible in Yerablur. It has become unbearable for us to see how Yerablur is growing larger for our parents. For this reason, we have intensified our struggle, drawing all our strength together. Yes, we must put an end to the practice of using this sacred site as a stage.”
“The atrocities committed by the police on September 21 have ignited the fury of all our dignified compatriots. We are grateful for the words of encouragement and support. And now, we call on you to come and stand by our side so that we can succeed through our united struggle. Yerablur represents the fighting and unyielding spirit of the Armenian people. God bless our homeland,” the statement reads.
