A Migrant Ship Has Capsized in Syria, Leaving 88 Dead
The number of casualties from the capsizing of a migrant ship near the shores of Tartus province in Syria has reached 88. This information was reported by the Syrian Ministry of Health.
It has been noted that 14 people continue to receive medical assistance at the hospital, with 2 of them in critical condition.
Earlier reports indicated that there were 77 deceased and 20 survivors, who were taken to one of the hospitals in Tartus city.
The ship, which set sail earlier this week from Lebanon, was carrying citizens from Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine, as well as individuals whose nationalities have yet to be determined. According to one of the survivors, there were approximately 150 people on board.
