VIDEO: The Reason Behind the Murder of a Policeman in Chambarak Revealed by the Investigative Committee

The motive behind the murder of Sipan Saribekyan, a resident of Chambarak, was revenge. This information has been reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

The investigation has identified the perpetrator, who is a 37-year-old fellow resident of the victim.

"Evidence has been obtained indicating that on September 20, 2022, around 6:30 PM, upon noticing that a 32-year-old man was in a fast-food establishment on Getapnya Street in Chambarak, he entered the venue, verbally assaulted him, and subsequently, due to personal issues stemming from their previous interactions, out of revenge, inflicted multiple stab wounds with a knife he had on him, causing life-threatening injuries," the statement read.

A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 155 of the Criminal Code, and the investigative group has been tasked with carrying out the inquiry.

It is noteworthy that on September 20, at about 7:20 PM, the police received a report from the "Chambarak" medical center stating that a man had been transferred there with multiple injuries caused by a sharp cutting object.
