Peskov on Possible Conversation between Putin and Macron

Russia's President Vladimir Putin and France's President Emmanuel Macron have not yet initiated a conversation from Paris, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

“So far, there have been no initiatives to organize a conversation. Most likely, the French President will probably return home from New York first, and then, probably, the initiatives he spoke about will follow. No agreed conversation is planned,” Peskov said in a conversation with reporters.

Earlier, Macron stated that he cannot explain the actions of his Russian counterpart in Ukraine.
