Ukrainian Commanders to Live in Turkey Until War's End: What Zelensky and Erdogan Have Decided
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for mediating the release of servicemen who were captured during the defense of Azovstal and Mariupol.
“According to our agreements with Erdogan, the five released commanders of Azov will live comfortably in Turkey until the end of the war. They will be able to meet their families. I sincerely thank President Erdogan for his leading role in the liberation of our people,” emphasized the Ukrainian leader.
