Pashinyan - Erdogan Meeting Not Ruled Out, Says MFA Spokesperson

The Armenian side does not rule out the possibility of a meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Prague, while simultaneously emphasizing that such a meeting is not confirmed at this moment.

In response to a question from Armenpress, the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan, stated, "During the event to be held in Prague, a meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cannot be excluded. However, at this moment, such a meeting is not confirmed. If the meeting is confirmed, we will inform the public in a timely manner," Hunanyan said.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the participation in the upcoming European Political Community meeting in Prague is being discussed, noting that if they decide to go to the Czech Republic, then presumably, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also be present there. "It is possible that we will have the opportunity to discuss all issues there," Erdogan stated.
