Erdogan: We Aim to Increase Gas Volumes from the US Under More Favorable Conditions
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that Ankara aims to increase the volume of liquefied natural gas coming from the United States, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Erdogan made this statement during his speech at a Turkish-American business council meeting in New York. “In the near future, we want to increase the volume of gas coming from the US under more favorable conditions. We are ready to cooperate on supplying American liquefied natural gas to countries in the region,” said Erdogan.
Currently, the main countries supplying gas to Turkey are Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan.
