Sotk Administrative Head Talks About Community Damages

In the village of Sotk, Gegharkunik Province, three civilians were injured due to Azerbaijani shelling, one of whom is in serious condition. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the administrative head of Sotk, Sevak Khachatryan, who added that the injuries occurred during an evacuation.

He also mentioned that fortunately, there were no casualties in their community.

"The village has about 1,000 residents. Currently, women and children are outside. The men come to feed their cows and then leave again," said the village mayor.

Sevak Khachatryan had difficulty assessing the extent of the community's losses, stating that the damage is still being evaluated. He also assured that no gunfire has been heard in Sotk in the past two days.
