Civilian Objects and Infrastructure Damaged by Azerbaijani Aggression: Minister of Emergency Situations Provides Details
During a government session, Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan discussed the number of civilian objects and infrastructure affected by Azerbaijani aggression.
“As a result of Azerbaijan's aggression, hotels, a resort, and two shells fell on the Kechut reservoir in Vayots Dzor. The cable car in Jermuk, the building of the firefighting rescue unit, and personal vehicles and other properties have been damaged. In the Syunik region of Sisian community, we have disruptions related to electricity supply lines. Emergency vehicles have been damaged due to Azerbaijani shelling. In Gegharkunik province, primarily houses, wheat, and barley fields have sustained damage. In Sotk, 55-60 houses have been damaged, as well as barns, numerous gas supply pipes, and several private vehicles,” said Pambukhchyan.
The Prime Minister stated that all damages will be thoroughly recorded, aiming at ensuring government funding for comprehensive recovery efforts. “It is also important to document these and other circumstances legally,” said Nikol Pashinyan. The Prime Minister emphasized that instances of war crimes by Azerbaijani aggressive forces have been recorded, and these cases should be well-documented for future proceedings in international legal processes.
