VIDEO: Police Barrier Near National Assembly Building

This morning, a significant police presence formed a barrier and closed off Demirchyan Street. Recall that yesterday, numerous citizens blocked Baghramyan Avenue and held a protest demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan. They chanted "Nikol the traitor." MP Aram Vardevanyan from the 'Armenia' faction announced that the demand for Nikol Pashinyan's impeachment has been signed by the 'Armenia' and 'Honorary' factions; 18 more signatures from the ruling Civil Contract party are needed for the process to begin. Spontaneous rallies with the same demand also took place yesterday in Gyumri, Stepanakert, and in front of the Armenian embassy in the USA.
