UN Hopeful That Baku and Yerevan Will Maintain Ceasefire Agreement
The UN is hopeful that Baku and Yerevan will uphold the ceasefire agreement reached on Wednesday, said Miroslav Jenca, the assistant to the UN Secretary-General, during a Security Council meeting.
“It was announced last night that starting from 20:00 local time, an agreement has been reached for a halt to hostilities. We welcome this agreement and hope that the ceasefire will be maintained,” Jenca stated.
