Shirak Regional Governor and His Daughter-in-Law Suggest Sending Opposition Protesters to the Front Line Without Weapons

The governor of Shirak, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, and her daughter-in-law, Ani Kocharyan, have proposed sending citizens who took to the streets demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister to the border. In particular, Ani Kocharyan wrote: "A group of traitorous individuals are roaming around Gyumri shouting and honking. What are they born from?" This prompted a response from Nazeli Baghdasaryan: "They have reached near our house; gather people to send this junta towards Jermuk." Ani Kocharyan added: "Yes, they should be sent to the border without weapons." It is noteworthy that yesterday the authorities had already threatened to send the citizens protesting against them to the front line.
