Resident of Verishen Sustains Shrapnel Injury While Assisting Soldiers

A resident of Verishen village in the Syunik region sustained a shrapnel injury around 3:00 PM yesterday while assisting soldiers and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital.

This information was provided to 24News.am by the administrative head of Verishen, Artak Zadayan.

Zadayan stated that Rafik Khachatryan's life is not in danger; the injury was inflicted on the areas above and below the knee.

According to the village head, three shells fell simultaneously, and Khachatryan managed to lie down.

Since the morning, there have been no gunshots directed at the settlement, and the situation is calm.
