Arthur Davtyan Announces Resignation as Chief Prosecutor of Armenia

The Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan, has addressed the public with a farewell message upon the completion of his term in office.

“Dear compatriots,
Due to the constitutional end of my term in office, I am resigning from the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia. I have approached this position each day with a sense of immense responsibility and a commitment to serving my country and people, to enhancing security and stability in our nation, and to the development of the prosecution system to which I belong, all to the best of my abilities and with divine assistance.

At this time, when all our thoughts and attention are focused on the border during a challenging and decisive period for our sacred homeland, I do not see the need for long speeches.
I express my gratitude to my brothers and sisters, all the employees of the prosecution service, and my dedicated partners in law enforcement and other organizations for our shared service and solidarity.

I wish the new Chief Prosecutor effective work in the path of building a legal state for the bright future of our homeland.
May God protect the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh.”

It is noteworthy that Anna Vardapetyan, former assistant to the Prime Minister, has just been appointed as the new Chief Prosecutor by the National Assembly.
