A Security Council Meeting Took Place in Yerevan: What Was Discussed
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, is in Yerevan for political consultations with the Armenian authorities regarding the Artsakh issue.
"I announce that I participated in the meeting of the Security Council of Armenia for this purpose. After the discussions, I would like to reiterate that no documents regarding the status of Artsakh are being discussed at this stage. In my address to our Armenian counterparts, I literally conveyed all our concerns, emphasizing that no document can undermine our people's right and aspirations to live freely and independently. The Armenian authorities reaffirmed that no document related to Artsakh will be signed without discussing it with the authorities of Artsakh and considering the opinion of our people," wrote the President of Artsakh on his Facebook page.
The delegation of the National Assembly of Artsakh, which is also in Yerevan, will continue political consultations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the Speaker of the National Assembly, and other actors in the political field.
