Two Fire Foci Ignited by the Forest Fire in Jermuk Are Under Enemy Surveillance
There are still two foci of fire from the forest fire that broke out in the forested area of Jermuk city, while another two foci are under the observation of the enemy. This was reported by Hayk Kostanyan, the press secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in an interview with Aurora news.
It was announced that a fire broke out in the forests of Jermuk yesterday, which is believed to be a result of enemy shelling.
“There were four fire foci. Two have completely extinguished themselves, while the two are in areas being monitored by the enemy, and at this moment, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations cannot carry out firefighting operations,” said Kostanyan.
As we reported yesterday, at 15:58, a notification was received at the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center that a fire had broken out in the forested area adjacent to Jermuk city.
