Pashinyan and Aliyev Confirm Intent to Attend SCO Summit in Samarkand: Russian Foreign Ministry
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev have confirmed their intention to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Samarkand, according to the Uzbek presidency of the organization.
This information was reported by TASS, citing Bakhtiyor Hakimov, the Russian president's special representative for SCO affairs and special envoy of the Foreign Ministry.
“According to the Uzbek presidency, they have confirmed their intention to come to Samarkand,” he stated.
The SCO summit is scheduled to take place from September 15 to 16 in Samarkand.
