Fire Erupts in Sotk Village Following Shelling

On September 14, at 08:04, a call was received by the Gegharkunik regional crisis management center reporting that a house was burning in the village of Sotk due to shelling.

A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that the fire had originated in a semi-destroyed barn adjacent to one of the houses on 2/1 Street in Sotk.

The fire was contained by 08:31 and extinguished by 08:51. The wooden structural elements of the barn's roof (approximately 40 square meters) were burned.
