Armenia Appeals to ECHR: What Is the Demand?

Armenia has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) for the protection of the fundamental rights of soldiers appearing in various videos, reported the Republic of Armenia's representative on international legal issues.

It has been noted that since yesterday, videos have been circulating online showing Armenian prisoners of war under the apparent control of Azerbaijani soldiers.

“In addition to our request for interim measures against Azerbaijan, we have submitted an additional request to the European Court for the protection of the fundamental rights of soldiers appearing in these videos,” the statement said.
