Gunfire Resounds in Goris: Tensions High Around Sevan Lake Area

The situation in Syunik remains tense. Goris Deputy Mayor Irina Yolyan has informed "Factinfo" that sounds of enemy shelling can currently be heard in Goris, with heightened tensions particularly around the Sevan Lake area.

In a conversation with the media, the Deputy Mayor stated that the enemy is targeting peaceful residents and civilian objects, noting that as a result of shelling, four residential homes in Verishen and Akhker are damaged. No information regarding casualties or injuries among the residents has been reported yet.

Irina Yolyan mentioned that Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan has formed a squad and left for the border just yesterday.
