Four Fire Foci in Jermuk Forests: Firefighting Impossible in Enemy Observation Areas
On September 13 at 18:00, the Crisis Management National Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received reports that the forests of Jermuk were burning.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hayk Kostanyan, stated that firefighting efforts are not possible in areas monitored by the enemy. “It is dangerous to carry out firefighting in those areas since they are under enemy observation. However, in areas that are not observed, firefighting efforts are being conducted, and monitoring is also taking place. There are four foci of the fire,” noted Hayk Kostanyan.
