Azerbaijani Shelling Damages Jermuk Military Unit

Currently, there are no Azerbaijani gunfire incidents reported in the Jermuk community of Vayots Dzor province. Jermuk's community leader, Vahagn Arsenyan, stated this to 24News.

According to him, the military unit was damaged as a result of the Azerbaijani armed forces' shelling, while civilian facilities, including the Jermuk health resort complex, remain unharmed.

The latest statement from the Ministry of Defense mentions that as of 2:00 PM, the situation along certain sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border continues to be extremely tense.

“Despite a significant reduction in the intensity of shelling, the adversary continues to attempt positional advancement, particularly towards Nerkin Hand, Verin Shorzha, Artanish, and Sotk. The units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia continue to carry out their combat tasks in full measure,” the statement noted.

“The preliminary death toll due to the Azerbaijani large-scale aggression is reported to be 49,” the announcement added.
