Ankara Supports Baku
The Turkish administration, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has stated that a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan can only be achieved based on Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, according to TASS news agency.
It was noted that Ankara supports Baku in light of the escalating situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
As a reminder, from 00:05, Azerbaijani military units began intense fire towards Armenian positions in the directions of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk using artillery, large-caliber firearms, and drones. According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, as of 8 AM, the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border had not changed significantly.
The adversary continues to use artillery, mortars, drones, and large-caliber firearms in the directions of Vardenis, Sotk, Artanish, Ishkhanasar, Goris, and Kapan, targeting both military and civilian infrastructures. In certain sections of the border, positional battles continue, and the adversary does not cease attempts to advance.
During a presentation to the National Assembly regarding the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported that, according to preliminary information, there are 49 casualties; however, this number is not final, as the definitive count will be provided after confirmation by the Ministry of Defense.
