VIDEO: People Injured During City Day Fireworks in Kyzyl

Two people were injured during the fireworks display on City Day in Kyzyl. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the regional leader.

“Two individuals requested medical assistance; they received outpatient treatment and have been discharged. Some of the fireworks sparks flew towards the audience,” said a source from the agency.

Republic leader Vladislav Khovalig announced on his Telegram channel that services are currently investigating the cause of the incident. “If the contractor's fault is established due to safety precaution violations, they should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law; right now, the priority is to provide timely assistance to the victims. According to the press service, the fireworks were organized by a company from Novosibirsk,” he added.

On September 10, the capital of the republic is celebrating its 108th anniversary.
