20-Year-Old Arman Killed in Evening Clashes
In the eastern section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, 20-year-old conscript Arman Sargsyan was killed by enemy fire on the evening of September 5. This was reported to NEWS.am by the head of the administrative district, Garik Nazaryan.
Nazaryan shared that Arman Sargsyan had been drafted into the army in June of the previous year. The young soldier was the youngest child in his family, having one older brother, and was serving at the military unit in Chambarak, Gegharkunik Province.
“He lived with his parents and grandmother. He came from a good family; his parents are simple and good people,” said the district head. It should be noted that materials are being prepared in the garrison investigative unit regarding the incident.
