VIDEO: Before Emergency Services Arrived, a Girl Jumped from the Victory Bridge but Survived

Today, on September 5, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 10:30 AM, a call was made to the 911 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reporting that a citizen had climbed the railing of the "Victory" bridge and was threatening to jump.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, by the time the emergency response team from the Yerevan fire and rescue service No. 1 arrived, the citizen had already jumped.

Rescuers, medical personnel, and police discovered the young girl in the water beneath the bridge, where doctors provided first aid on site. Subsequently, accompanied by battalion commander A. Dadoyan, the injured girl was transported by ambulance to the "Armenia" Medical Center, where doctors immediately rushed her to the intensive care unit.
