Video: What is Happening in China’s Sichuan Province Where Strict Quarantine is Imposed
In China’s Sichuan province, 21 million people are under the most severe quarantine zone. Residents of Chengdu are crying out for help and stocking up on supplies. There is chaos in the city’s shops as locals are taking hundreds of kilograms of food, and what they cannot carry away is often obtained through fighting and theft.
By government order, Sichuan province, which has a population of about 21 million, is under strict quarantine. Every night, residents are calling for help, literally screaming from their apartment windows. Foreigners can enter and leave the city only through QR codes and tests that are valid for just 24 hours.
