Trying to Save Someone's Skin: Tiran Khachatryan on Criminal Cases of Former Commanders of the Defense Army
The investigative bodies must address why two years after the war, a criminal case has been initiated against Mikael Arzumanyan. This was stated by the former first deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Tiran Khachatryan, during a talk at France Square, emphasizing that there are no flawless individuals, raising the question of whose skin is being sought to be saved.
In response to a journalist's question about whether he fears that a criminal case might also be initiated against him, he expressed that he has "no such concerns." Addressing the current legal system, Tiran Khachatryan noted that there is no legal system in Armenia; they do whatever they want.
