Trump and His Supporters are Extremists Threatening the Foundations of the United States: Biden

Former President Donald Trump and his supporters are the embodiment of extremism that threatens the foundations of the American political system, President Joseph Biden said in a speech in Philadelphia on September 1.

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans (referring to 'Make America Great Again', a key slogan from Trump's 2016 campaign) are the embodiment of extremism that threatens the foundations of our republic,” he declared.

Biden divided Republican Party supporters into moderates and radicals—the MAGA Republicans. According to him, these “radicals” allegedly do not respect the Constitution and the rule of law and do not recognize the will of the people.

“Equality and democracy are under attack. And we will harm ourselves if we pretend that this is not the case,” the American leader stated.

He also added that America is at a turning point; according to Biden, this is “one of those moments when what comes next is determined.”
