NATO Will Weaken Without Turkey: Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has described NATO as a weak organization without Turkey. According to Haber Turk, Erdogan specifically stated that NATO will be weak without Turkey, and Greece has no value for the alliance.

“Greece's stance cannot weaken the ties between Ankara and NATO; the alliance cannot be strong without Turkey,” he said. According to the Turkish leader, as long as Turkey exists, NATO remains a strong organization.

Speaking about the removal of Turkey's congratulations on the anniversary of NATO's victory over Greece in 1922, the politician remarked that NATO has performed its “next maneuver.”

“NATO, as always, maneuvered to show that they are another power, yet at the same time remain with Turkey,” Erdogan said.
