Coastal Services Remove Stranded Cargo Ship in the Bosphorus

Coastal services in the Bosphorus have removed a cargo ship that ran aground in the strait. Local media report this.

It is noted that the dry cargo ship Lady Zehma, which had encountered trouble in the Bosphorus, was transporting 3,000 tons of corn from Ukraine to Italy, according to representatives of the Turkish coastal service.

Earlier, it was reported that traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended due to the emergency situation.

The Lady Zehma, which was heading from Ukraine to Istanbul, ran aground. According to the coastal security services, the movement of ships has been halted. This vessel is one of six tankers that departed from Ukrainian ports on August 30, transporting agricultural products.
