Finland to Provide Humanitarian Visas for Opposition-Minded Russians
Finland's authorities are considering the issuance of visas for opposition-minded Russians. This was reported by Ura.ru. The country's Foreign Ministry has labeled these visas as humanitarian.
They will be available to Russian journalists, human rights defenders, and public figures who criticize their country, according to the Yle portal.
Previously, it was announced that the authorities of Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia intend to restrict the entry of Russian citizens into their territories. To that end, the issuance of visas to Russians will be banned at the national level, as well as crossing the border with EU country visas.
