A New Power Line to Armenia Opens in Iran
A new power line to Armenia has been inaugurated in Iran's East Azerbaijan Province, as reported by the Iranian news agency 'Irna'.
The new line has been opened as part of over 2000 projects related to electricity generation.
The 90-kilometer Jerez-Meghri power transmission line has the capacity to export 400 kilowatts of electricity to Armenia. It is noted that the Tabriz Electricity Distribution Company and the East Azerbaijan Electricity Distribution Company have launched more than 2000 projects in light of the ongoing Government Week celebrations in Iran.
