USA and Taiwan Sign Arms Supply Agreement
Taiwan and the United States have signed a six-year agreement worth $45 million for the supply of munitions and spare parts for attack helicopters. This information was reported by the Taipei Times, citing Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense.
The agreement pertains to the maintenance of Apache and Black Hawk helicopters that are part of the Taiwanese military's arsenal. The contract will be in effect until December 2028.
Under the deal, the island will receive munitions for armored, artillery, and missile forces, as well as weapons for naval and military aviation, the newspaper’s source reported.
