Expectations for Putin-Pashinyan-Aliyev Meeting

According to reports from Hayastani Zhamanak, an upcoming trilateral meeting is scheduled to take place in Moscow on August 31 under the Aliyev-Pashinyan-Putin format.

Information sourced from Russian circles indicates that Ilham Aliyev is prepared to raise, in his own words, the issue of the 'Zangezur Corridor' sharply at this meeting. He expects that Nikol Pashinyan will clearly announce the timeline for the opening, placement, operation, and resolution of related issues concerning the road connecting Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan.

The Russians believe that Aliyev is resolute and intends not to trust Pashinyan’s promises, as he is reluctant to allow any delay.
