VIDEO: The Famous Yangtze River in China has Dried Up
The world’s largest Three Gorges Hydroelectric Power Station, located in Hubei province in central China, has begun releasing water from the upstream of the Yangtze River to raise its levels. This was reported by China Central Television.
REGNUM previously reported that in many areas of the Yangtze River and elsewhere, water levels had fallen to record lows in some cases due to summer heat. In certain regions, the river has dried up.
